The King Lear - Shakespeare's tragedy... in a pub!

Three clowns decide to perform their own version of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy and set it in their local - "THE KING LEAR".

Instead of a kingdom, they have a pub!

Instead of a King they have a landlord - Mr Lear!

Hilarious and heart breaking, The King Lear will unfold using improvisation, physical comedy, vibrant storytelling all linked by nuggets of Shakespeare's text. There will be irreverence, but no parody. We play with Shakespeare’s ingredients yet remain faithful to his themes. The result - potent, accessible drama!

This event is in the Oscars - Tickets are £16/£14 concessions
