The Jungle Book - 1967 (U)

Dir: Wolfgang Reitherman | USA | 1967 | 77 mins

Based on Rudyard Kipling’s book of the same title, Mowgli, raised by wolves in the Indian jungle, becomes endangered and must get to the man-village. He is accompanied on the adventure by wise panther Bagheera and along the way meets King Louie the jazzy orangutan, Kaa the hungry snake and Baloo the happy-go-lucky bear. Come and sing along to The Bare Necessities and I Wan’na Be Like You in the final film to be produced by Walt Disney himself.

This film is part of A Life More Ordinary - our selection of dementia-friendly film screenings. These take place in a relaxed atmosphere where people are welcome to move around and come and go as they please. There will be an interval with tea and cake.
Everybody is welcome to these screenings and we would particularly like to extend this welcome to families and children during this Easter holiday. Please note that lights are up slightly and the sound is lower than usual.
