A screening of director Giuseppe Tornatore's witty, warm and nostalgic Oscar-winning tribute to the golden age of cinema-going (1988). A filmmaker recalls his childhood when he fell in love with the movies at his village’s cinema in Sicily and formed a deep friendship with the projectionist.
The musical score by Ennio Morricone and his son Andrea won the BAFTA award for Best Film Music.
