Dir: William Oldroyd | UK | 2016 | 89 mins

Set in rural England in the 19th century, young bride Katherine, sold by her father with a piece of land to a wealthy mine owner for his son, is trapped in a loveless marriage with her nasty husband. When he leaves on a business trip, Katherine embarks on a passionate affair with a young worker on the estate. Having new-found fulfilment, Katherine proves she will go to any lengths to protect it, taking a cold turn.
