An American in Paris

Jerry is an American World War II veteran trying to make a life for himself in Paris as a painter. Along with his two friends they struggle to find work and Jerry becomes involved with the same woman as one of the friends, unknown to either of them.

A 1950s musical starring Gene Kelly, with music composed by George Gerschwin including I Got Rhythm, S’Wonderful and Love is Here to Stay.


This film is part of A Life More Ordinary - our selection of dementia-friendly film screenings. Open to everyone, these take place in a relaxed environment with lower sound, low-lighting and people free to come and go as they please. There will be an interval with tea and cake.
