Increasing your confidence is essential if you want to get the most out of life. In this 3-hour workshop you’ll learn a number of useful techniques that you can apply to enhance your relationship with yourself and others. Jess draws on her training in psychology, mindful self-compassion, and the performing arts in this interactive session. She has been helping to boost women’s confidence for over ten years. Jess is regularly featured in Boots Health & Beauty magazine, and speaks at wellbeing events across the UK.
We'll focus on 3 main areas:
1. Mindset and limiting self-talk:These exercises come from leadership development programmes I've run for my corporate clients, focusing on increasing self-awareness and how to unblock limiting thoughts.
2. Mindful self-compassion: We tend to hold the belief that we are not good enough, trying to living up to other's or our own unrealistic expectations. We'll work through some exercises that help highlight all the amazing things about ourselves.
3. Performing arts techniques: It's surprising how much your body language, posture, breathing and voice can help or hinder your confidence levels. We'll play around with a few simple exercises (no role playing or anything scary involved).
All these elements together can help boost your confidence, help increase your resilience to stress, and can enhance your charismatic side.
