An Evening about Rewilding

With Pentabus Theatre Company

They’re introducing wolves in the Scottish highlands, beavers in Devon and wild boar in the Forest of Dean - just how much wild are we comfortable with?

Pentabus Theatre Company is thrilled to be hosting An Evening About Rewilding chaired by award winning landscape and wildlife photographer, and author Andrew Fusek Peters.

Come and hear different perspectives of the contentious subject of Rewilding at Ludlow Assembly Rooms on 9 September, from a panel of rewilding enthusiasts and experts. The panel includes author Jay Griffiths (most recent works include Wild: An Elemental Journey and Kith: The Riddle of the Childscape.), Anthony Haighway (wildlife enthusiast with a particular interest in Wolves and founder of Wolf Watch UK), Richard Yates (Fourth generation Bridgnorth farmer running a mixed dairy, sheep, beef and arable business on three farms. Long-standing participant in agri-environment schemes. Chairman of Burwarton Show 2001-2013, Chairman of Shropshire NFU 2014-16.), and rewilding expert  Alicia Leow-Dyke (Welsh Beaver Project Officer from Radnorshire Wildlife Trust). Along with Olivier award nominee playwright Joel Horwood discussing the inspiration behind his new play, Wolves Are Coming For You commissioned by Pentabus Theatre Company which will be touring nationally this autumn.

This event will be held in Oscars. Tickets: £10 / £7 concessions.
