McQueen (15)

A personal look at the extraordinary life, career and artistry of Alexander McQueen.
Through exclusive interviews with his closest friends and family, recovered archives, exquisite visuals and music, McQueen is an authentic celebration and thrilling portrait of an inspired yet tortured fashion visionary.

The late British genius and award-winning designer Alexander McQueen was renowned for pushing the boundaries of fashion. Originally trained on Savile Row before working with the famous theatrical costumiers Angels and Bermans, it is no wonder he formed a signature style of mixing razor-sharp tailoring with melodramatic silhouettes and directional cuts.
Directed by Ian Bonhote and co-directed / written by Peter Ettedgui, McQueen offers an intimate, well-sourced, and overall moving look at a young life and brilliant career that were tragically cut short.

“Fashion should be a form of escapism, and not a form of imprisonment” – Alexander McQueen
