The Breadwinner (12A)

When Parvana’s father is arrested for being an intellectual, she sets out to provide for her family. In a place where women and girls are banned from being out in public without a man accompanying them, Parvana cuts off her hair and dresses like a boy. Experiencing this new found freedom, she sets out to find her father and reunite her family as war closes in on the city.

Stunning animated drama told through the eyes of 11 year old Parvana; a girl living under Taliban rule in Kabul. Please note this film is a 12A
