When film director Agnes Varda and photographer/muralist J.R. met in 2015, they immediately wanted to work together. Through chance encounters and prepared projects, they reached out to others, listening to them, photographing them, and creating wonderful shared art. This film tells the story of Agnès and JR's growing friendship, shared loves and their differences.
Equal parts breezily charming and poignantly powerful, Faces Places is a unique cross-generational portrait of life in rural France from the great Agnès Varda.
This event is screened in Oscars and spaces are limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
