Roman Kosyakov returns to Ludlow after his memorable performance in 2018, where his audience were left in no doubt that they had witnessed a very special talent.

Roman graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in 2017 and now studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on a full scholarship. He is a winner of many national and international competitions, including First Prize and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Prize at the 2018 Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition. He regularly gives concerts in France, Italy, Germany, Belarus, Russia, UK and the USA, and was guest soloist of the Kemerovsky State Symphony Orchestra from 2014 to 2017. In January 2019 Roman was awarded The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire's Silver Medal by the Musician’s Company and became a member of its Yeomen Young Artists’ Programme. In March 2019 he became a Kirckman Young Artist 2019-2020.
