Peter Dyke Audience Requests for Organ

A recital where the audience have requested the programme. Peter invites people to submit suggestions by 14 July on paper via a box provided in St Laurence or by email to Requests can be specific i.e. for a particular piece of music, or less so, for example for a composer or a piece which demonstrates a feature of the organ. Peter cannot promise to play everything within the hour, however he will try to reflect the range and spirit of the requests received

Peter Dyke is assistant director of music at Hereford Cathedral, where, as well as accompanying the daily services, he has played for the choir on its frequent broadcasts, tours and recordings. He founded and directs Hereford Cathedral Voluntary Choir, which has given world premieres at the Cathedral, Three Choirs Festivals and toured continental Europe. He has pursued an active recital career, playing throughout the British Isles and further afield. His solo CD recordings have included music by J S Bach at St Albans Abbey and English Romantic repertoire at Hereford.
