From Bach to the Basque country


A musical journey through Europe, travelling the continent with Händel, Fauré, Bizet and Albeniz, and returning close to home over the Welsh border. An entertaining programme of music for flute and harp in the beautiful surroundings of Leintwardine church.

A nostalgic portraiture of Britain tracing threads of the pastoral, domestic and folk traditions from the 18th to the 21st century.  This programme will incorporate both folk and art music by composers such as Britten, Rubbra, and Storace and feature a new song cycle by Simon Twiselton (the composer will be present at this event).

This event is at St Mary Magdalene’s Church, Leintwardine, Herefordshire.

Tickets: £15 / £10 for under 16’s, students, unemployed and disabled (carers go free) / £14 Senior citizens.
