(LARFE) Ludlow Assembly Rooms Fundraising Events

Upcoming LARFE Fundraising Events

The 36th Secret Gardens will take place on Sun 14 June, 11 – 5.30pm Tickets on sale soon.

Sorry. No events are scheduled at present.

LARFE is a small dedicated team of volunteers whose sole aim is to raise funds for Ludlow Assembly Rooms, a registered charity.

It delivers fundraising events throughout the year such as the incredible Secret Gardens of Ludlow, Coffee Mornings, Garden soirees, a Winter Quiz, on-going honesty bookcase in the central corridor and an Auction of Promises every other year: see below for dates of these events. The latest venture has been a very popular Vintage & Collectables Fair – definitely to be repeated in future months and a brilliant Artisan Makers event in November.

The LARFE team consider Ludlow Assembly Rooms to be a superb facility in the heart of a small market town in rural Shropshire. Its diverse programme of streamed events from the National Theatre and Royal Opera House, films, live theatre, comedy, lectures, music & children’s events are on offer throughout the year. It also offers spaces to hire for classes, meetings, receptions and a wide range of community activities making it an extraordinary diverse Arts and Community Centre, once described by West Midlands Arts as ‘The Jewel in the West Midlands’.

None of this can happen without regular funding support from patrons, sponsors, Friends of LAR and hundreds of volunteers and, of course, LARFE which in the year 2022 to 2023 raised £27,800.

We welcome new members to join us. Whether you have experience of fundraising or not, but have ideas and skills to help with an event, we’d love to say hello. We meet on a Wednesday morning for a couple of hours every two months and then all rally round to help at each event.
