LAR Bars
Ludlow Assembly Rooms bars are open for 1/2 hour before films and 3/4 hour before live and streamed events. Our ‘Oscars’ space also has its own bar within the room. We sell a great range of wine, local beer, local cider and local apple juice and a variety of other soft drinks too AND you are welcome to take your drinks into the events with you – please just remember that our glasses are reusable so leave them with the bar staff or stewards before you go.
Our snacks, sweets and ice creams include gluten free and vegan options, so you can get everything you need to enjoy a performance right here at LAR!
We are proud to say our bars are run by friendly volunteers, and we always need more – please get in touch if you’d like to be involved.
Bill’s Kitchen
Looking for a quick drink or something to eat? Then pull up a chair and tuck into some amazing food at Bill’s Kitchen. Situated in the heart of the Assembly Rooms building facing Castle Square, Bill’s Kitchen offers a range of delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners and pre-show meals (available before Live Streams, on Friday nights and for Jazz and Folk Café too). Pop in for home-made cakes and delicious coffees. Bill also has wines, beers and ciders.
