Room Hire

The Assembly Rooms offers different spaces for hire to suit a variety of occasions, activities and events.  There are two bars, one adjacent to the auditorium and the other in Oscars, the main function room.  Bills Kitchen café is located on the ground floor of the building as is Ludlow’s Visitor Information Centre.

The building has two lifts allowing ease of access to all floors.   Toilets are located to serve all function rooms as well as the main auditorium.  There are 3 accessible toilets in the building.

 REGULAR HIRE & ONE-OFF

If you are interested in hiring a room at the Assembly Rooms on a regular basis to hold workshops, run activities, lectures or something else please contact us to request a copy of our ‘Regular hirers’ room hire rates and to discuss your requirements.  Of course, we will also consider one-off events if we can fit them in between our regular hires.

Directions and Parking

By Foot The Assembly Rooms is situated in the heart of Ludlow opposite Market Square and a 10 minute walk from Ludlow train station. The main entrance is located on Castle Square.

By Road to Ludlow  Ludlow is located 28 miles south of Shrewsbury and 23 miles north of Hereford, on the A49 road which bypasses the town. The A4417 heads east from Ludlow and the A4113 west.  

Public Parking nearby

There is pay and display public parking, both on road and carpark, in immediate proximity of the Assembly Rooms.  There are several other public carparks within 10 minutes walk of the Assembly Rooms.

By Rail to Ludlow

There are direct trains to Crewe, Manchester Piccadilly, Shrewsbury, Hereford, Newport, Cardiff Central, Milford Haven, Chester and Holyhead.

Disabled Parking

There are 6 bays for disabled drivers directly opposite the Mill Street entrance.

Loading bays

There are two loading bays within 10 metres of either the main or side entrance.
