During the first half of 2026, at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Nina & Co will once again present six classic films from around the world whose quality and content still inspire and speak to us today. Chosen primarily for the strength of their art – visual, musical and dramatic – the visual qualities are key, in costume. production design, cinematography and setting, from Britain, Europe, Australia and the Far East.

The unexplained disappearance disrupts the local community in the form of haunting visuals and psychological suspense. The film’s numinous air and ambiguous coda leave audiences questioning their own perception, making it a classic of Australian cinema.
