Friends of Mortimer Forest Variety Show

Join
award-winning impressionist, Alistair McGowan, and friends for a
memorable evening of music, words, comedy, poetry and magic in Ludlow.

Held
in the magnificent St Laurence's Church, renowned for its
exceptional acoustics, the evening will showcase outstanding local talent of
all ages. 

Enjoy
performances from singers from the worlds of opera, folk and West End
musicals, pianists playing much-loved classics and original
compositions, and a chance to hear two pieces played by leading organist,
Shaun Ward, on the magnificent church organ. 

Alistair will
link everything with his comedy and poetry, and you’ll
discover the fascinating history of Mortimer Forest from those who
know, hear actress Gabrielle Drake reading some Forest-related poems
and even enjoy more than a little magic! 

This
unique celebration of the arts aims to bring Ludlow together in support of
the Friends of Mortimer Forest. Proceeds will help the charity
carry on its brilliant work and hopefully encourage some of you to get involved
in caring for the cherished trees, land and wildlife which surround our
beautiful town.
