Young people can enjoy £5 tickets to see world-class theatre, ballet and opera, while our ‘Sticky Carpet’ DJ nights have included Northern Soul and Ibiza house music.

Our main stage venue Oscars allows you to get up close to acclaimed singer-songwriters, comedians and cabaret artists. Our swish gold and blue cinema with superb sound and captions turns watching a film – maybe with a quality wine or beer – into a glorious event. From wartime dramas to comedies, the selection is thought-provoking and family-friendly.

Our theatre shows include Edinburgh transfers, the annual panto and works about our times by celebrated theatre company Pentabus. We love our talented local community and host activities for U3A seniors, schools, families and individuals, with lectures, yoga, Zumba and drawing classes. Artists from our shows offer workshops in dance, poetry, puppetry and more.

Jazz and folk supper evenings at Bill’s Kitchen on the ground floor are popular.
