The Summer Book (PG)

After the tragic loss of Sophia's mother, the family takes refuge at their traditional, rustic summer home on a tiny, uninhabited island. While the father quietly processes his grief, Sophia and her grandmother spend their time roaming the wilderness, building small boats, and exploring the rocky shores. They rarely speak directly about the mother's death. Instead, their grief is expressed through their deep connection with the changing tides, the forest, and each other.
