“Rickards Ironmonger’s shop in Ludlow has been in business for generations…until recently.

Now closed, the building is steeped in history – infused into the damp, graffitied plaster, peeling wallpaper and scattered objects; all left behind as the shop doorbell rang its last.

Two photographs of the same shopworker, fifty years apart, discovered on a dusty shelf, have inspired a fairytale of the loves and lives haunting the premises, all too soon to be swept away for ever.”
