Ludlow Assembly Rooms is proud to present their 4th professional pantomime, Aladdin!
Brought to you by our co-producers, Ludwig Theatre Arts, this magical adventure promises all the sparkle, laughter, and festive fun of a traditional panto. Join Aladdin, Jasmine, and Widow Twankey on an action-packed journey filled with upbeat musical numbers, dazzling costumes, hilarious comedy, a smoochy love story and plenty of audience participation. Oh yes, there is!
Over 80 local, young performers have been part of our pantomime journey over the last three years, along with local and visiting professional actors. The cast works with amazing choreographer, Leianne Bates of Insteps Dance Academy – homegrown talent galore!
The fabulous Jack Ludwig produces and directs the show along with co-producer Jess Laurie of Ludlow Assembly Rooms – Jack works with hundreds of local young people in achieving their artistic and performing dreams through his award-winning company, Ludwig Theatre Arts.

Our pantomimes have been enjoyed by; youth groups, WI groups, friendship groups, work groups and clubs. BSL interpreted performance on Tuesday 16th December at 6.30pm Our BSL interpreter will translate all the spoken words and songs into British Sign Language, ensuring accessibility for deaf and BSL users, often positioned on stage or near the side, embodying the characters and adapting their style to the performance.
Due to popular demand, we have added a second ADULTS–ONLY PANTO to our run with performances on Friday 12th and Friday 19th at 8.00pm – these are the same spectacular pantomimes, just for grown-ups! Expect all the dazzling costumes, fantastic music, and hilarious comedy, with just a hint of extra cheekiness for a fun-filled night out. Perfect for friends, colleagues, or anyone looking for a festive treat with a playful twist. Strictly 18+. Book now for a magical night of laughter!
Our relaxed performance will be on Monday 29th December at 2:00pm. The house lights will be kept on throughout the performance, with reduced sound, no loud bangs or flashing lighting. Carers accompanying an audience member with additional needs will be granted a free ticket. See below.
Our chilled performance will be on Saturday 13th December at 2:00pm. This will provide a more casual theatre-going experience, with rules on noise and movement being more relaxed. They do not include any changes to the show and are ideal for those who like a more informal atmosphere. Chilled performances mean, for example, that someone with dementia is free to ask a companion what is going on in the show if they get lost, or a parent with a babe-in-arms can come along without worrying, knowing they can leave the auditorium and come back as they need.
New Year’s Eve
After the success of last year’s party, we will be seeing in 2026 with a New Years Eve finale performance AND an after-show party which will include a disco, Bar and buffet!
FAQs
- Accompanying registered carers are entitled to a complimentary ticket. Please contact the Box Office to book.
- Under 3's go free when seated on a parent's/guardian's lap. This is not available on New Year's Eve.
- The production will contain flashing lights, boo's, loud bangs, pyrotechnics and special effects.
- Pre-show meals at Bills Kitchen will be available on Thursdays and Fridays by booking directly on: 01584 877956
- The performance will be approximately 150 minutes long which includes a 20 minute interval
- Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime.
- Please allow plenty of time for parking and making your way to the venue; you don’t want to miss the opening scene!
