Visitor Information Centre
Nestled on Level 3 of the Ludlow Assembly Rooms, you will find an Aladdin’s cave of information covering the area of Ludlow, Shropshire, Herefordshire and the Border Country.
Tourists make a bee line for the Ludlow Map to orienteer themselves. Some visitors come by coach and only have a few hours to spend here and so the Ludlow Map is a good starting point for a quick tour of the town. For longer stayers we keep extensive lists of accommodation in hotels, B&B’s and self-catering places.
For keen walkers we a have a choice of 10 Ludlow Country Walks starting from the town centre. Cyclists can choose one of several leaflets from the Cycling for pleasure in the Marches series.
Ludlow is called the Town of festivals so we always keep detailed information on the food Festivals, the Medieval Christmas Fair and other regular events such as Ludlow Secret Gardens.
Children are also catered for with a wide range of leaflets and information on attractions such as the Shropshire Hills Discovery centre and the animal farms, and we keep a list of activities available for holiday and half-term time.
For keeping up with What’s On in Ludlow, we have a good display of local events for musical concerts and various lectures and events covering wide range of interests.
Ludlow VIC is manned by a team of dedicated volunteers who enjoy passing on their love and knowledge of the town of Ludlow. Visitors appreciate the personal service we offer.
We look forward to welcoming you to Ludlow.
