Voices of Spring

March 29 @ 7:30 PM

A joint concert featuring Bella Acappella and Ludlow Male Voice Choir .

One enchanted evening at the Assembly Rooms, two fabulous local choirs making beautiful music.

Following their memorable joint appearance at the 2024 Llangollen International Eisteddfod, Ludlow’s own Bella Acappella and Ludlow Male Voice choir return to LAR for their latest collaboration.

Bella Acappella, led by Musical Director Amy Evans, has earned a reputation as the premier all-female singing group in the county. Its four-part harmony repertoire features traditional songs, barbershop and more contemporary songs from Abba, Queen, Elbow, The Beatles, Coldplay and more.

Ludlow Male Voice Choir selects from a varied menu; from established favourites like Rod Stewart’s Sailing to Simon and Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water, to Anthem from Chess to Matt Monro to Elvis Presley and everything in between.

For more traditional tastes, the historical link between male voice choirs and Welsh hymns is celebrated as LMVC, led by MD Darren Clarke and accompanied by Jane Hughes, perform Gwahoddiad and Calon Lan.
