SILKY
Despite possessing one of the silliest names in comedy – and there's been a few – Liverpudlian in exile Silky has managed to emerge as one of the very best comics in the business.
Rated by fellow comics, critics and audiences alike, he has completed two consecutive sell-out tours of the UK with his mix of classic one-liners and off-the-cuff banter without parallel.
A tall, versatile, funny and very likeable performer, he is the ideal man, whether you need a friendly host, full-on, blistering stand-up or something down from the top of a cupboard.
Winner of the 2000 BAF Out There award for Artistic Courage, for a show at the Bakewell Arts Festival, where they were genuinely expecting folk music, he has also appeared in a pilot for a show bought for broadcast by Disney, but will never show the tape as Bee Costumes are involved.
TV Appearances Include The Stand-Up Show (BBC), The World Stands Up (Paramount) and the Comics Lounge (AUS).
