Life Drawing with Anita Bigsby

June 12 @ 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Life Drawing with Anita Bigsby
These 6 sessions will concentrate on developing and improving your observational skills when depicting the human form with an emphasis on experimentation with a wider range of mark making tools, mediums, and techniques so that you might start to develop your own unique style and approach.
Studying the human body in all its grace and dynamism has been an important part of artists’ training throughout the centuries. The sessions will begin with a variety of shorter ‘action’ poses, quick sketches and gestural drawings to capture the essence of the pose and a sense of movement and flow. As the course progresses, we will extend the poses giving you more time to appreciate the nuances of the figure using light and shadow, proportion, foreshortening, facial features, and other details.
This is a great course for beginners. Improvers and practising artists and an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and explore new materials in a supportive, relaxed, and productive environment.
Tickets for the whole course can be purchased HERE.
