Music from Hearthstone. Martin Thomas with Ben Walsh

March 1 @ 8:00 PM

Martin Thomas is excited to launch his latest solo CD, Hearthstone, in Ludlow.

Martin is a member of the much respected and hard-working band, Grey Wolf. Martin’s musicality and songwriting have led to collaborations with musicians from across the musical spectrum, and during these collaborations Martin started to return to his love of songwriting. In the autumn of 2023 he went back to the studio with arranger/producer, Ben Walsh to record his latest solo album, Hearthstone.
A veteran of the folk club circuit and festivals, Martin takes his inspiration from sources as the post, John Clare, the acoustic guitar playing of British Folk Movement, and Frightened Rabbit. He’s even been known to sing with Fred Jordan and Robert Plant . . . But not at the same time. Martin has recorded albums with Grey Wolf and has appeared as guitarist and instrumentalist on several other albums.
