Nina and Co Vintage Film Night – The Draughtman's Contract

Mr Neville, a young and conceited artist, is contracted by Mrs Virginia Herbert to produce a series of twelve landscape drawings of her country house, its outbuildings and gardens, as a gift for her cold and neglectful husband, who is currently away on business.
Part of the contract is that Mrs Herbert agrees to comply with Mr Neville's sexual demands.
During the first half of 2025, at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Nina & Co will present six classic films whose quality and content still inspire and speak to us today. Chosen primarily for the strength of their art – visual, musical and dramatic, the visual qualities are key, in costume. production design, cinematography and setting, from Britain, Europe and America.
