Music at Bill’s Kitchen with Dustbirds

Dustbirds are fiddle player Kerry Robinson and guitarist Nick Robertson. Originally from Northumberland and London respectively before relocating to the  Shropshire Hills, they have been playing in and around the beautiful market town of Ludlow for several years both as a duo and a four piece band.

Their alt.folk sound comprising of guitar, fiddle and shruti are paired with lyrics formed from their wanderings in the UK and beyond. They create songs that blend their voices to both playful and plaintive effect with themes ranging from Arthurian legend to tales of ghostly happenings at the Stiperstones.

They will be joined by percussionist Jonathan Gilpin and double bassist James Preece.
