Music at Bills’ Kitchen with Jazz Standards

Jazz standards are brilliant tunes which have rightly become classics, either drawn from the Great American Songbook (Broadway or Hollywood hits) or original compositions by jazz legends.

This show presents a swinging mix of these iconic standards – recorded by Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins and Billie Holiday, among others – in styles from mainstream to hard bop, with Bossa Novas and ballads to vary the pace and groove.

Tonight's band has years of experience playing together: tenor saxist Allan Dickie, pianist Paul Brooks, bass virtuoso Peter Cabara and drummer Richard Williamson.
