Box Office Summer Artisan Fair

After the incredible success of our Noel Artisan Market we have decided to hold a two day event to showcase the amazing work being made by local artists, makers, creators and producers from this fine part the country.
The Saturday coincides with our first ever OPEN DAY where we will be throwing open our doors to everyone. Expect FREE short films all day, music and dance workshops for all ages, as well as the Summer Artisan Fair. More details will be coming soon.
The fair is being organised by the amazing Danni Flowers in conjunction with LARFE, the team behind The Secret Gardens of Ludlow.

All designs are handprinted and handcrafted by me from my little shedspace in north Herefordshire. Everything made is one of a kind due to the nature and charm of printing by hand.

Hammered silver and freshwater pearl jewellery
“Silversmithing is in my blood! Like my blacksmith ancestors, I love manipulating and forming metal. I beat silver into delicate, organic shapes adding freshwater pearls with irregular characteristics and colourful gemstones to create unique, highly feminine jewellery.” Julia Foggin hails from Lancashire but is now based in Shropshire where she works from her beautiful workshop and gallery called MIST in the Ironbridge Gorge. At the Maws Craft Centre, she designs and makes her distinctive hammered silver jewellery, from tiny ear studs to intricately constructed statement pieces.

I am a Shrewsbury based illustrator working under the name Lizzistration. My work celebrates the people, places and everyday landmarks that shape my life. As a proud Salopian, I draw inspiration from local architecture, pubs, sporting culture and family connections, capturing scenes that hold shared meaning within the community. I work digitally using Procreate, building images through layered line and colour to create vibrant compositions that balance structure with spontaneity. My illustrations reimagine familiar buildings and moments, using bold colour palettes and transparent overlays to evoke collective memory while reflecting the town’s evolving landscape. The work feels both contemporary and nostalgic, offering a fresh perspective on places people think they know.

Etched and oxidised, nature inspired, sterling silver jewellery
ALI TREGASKES BIOAli Tregaskes is a designer-maker working from her studio in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, creating distinctive etched and oxidised sterling silver jewellery that is rich in fine detail, yet intentionally imperfect in form and finish.Inspired by texture and the intricate beauty of the natural world, Ali uses her own photography to capture delicate details found in wild ferns, cow parsley, leaves and trees. Handcrafted in sterling silver and occasionally accented with 18ct gold, each piece is created using traditional techniques, including acid etching and oxidation, resulting in a subtle gunmetal-grey patina.Individually made and often double-sided, every piece becomes a small wearable artwork with depth, texture and character. Alongside her love of nature, Ali is inspired by spoken word, lyrics and poetry, often incorporating meaningful words and phrases into her jewellery — a reflection of her connection to both language and the landscape that surrounds her.

I make traditional and contemporary baskets using willow grown in Somerset and on my plot in Herefordshire. I use heritage techniques that have been passed down through the generations, whilst at the same time developing my own visual language. I love making baskets, producing items that are both functional and beautiful as well as fully sustainable.

My lifelong passion for Celtic art started as a teenager. The intricate knotwork and fantastical beasts of our artist ancestors have always inspired me. I trained as a signwriter in my twenties but my chosen career was cut short by the introduction of computer graphics. I have had many different jobs over the years, including 20 years as a nurse in the NHS, but have always wished that I could return to my creative side. In 2025 I retired from nursing due to back issues and took the opportunity to do just that. I started woodcarving towards the end of 2025 and opened my business in March 2026. I now trade from the Maws Craft Centre in the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge.

Limited edition, handmade linocut prints based on nature and local landscapes.
Mike is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Shrewsbury since 1993. Creative from a very early age, he studied illustration at Portsmouth College of Art & Design. Mike turned his attention to linocut printing a few years ago and has since tried a wider range of printmaking techniques. Linocut printing lends itself very comfortably with Mike’s approach to imagery. He uses strong colour and shape to create his quirky, individual style. A strong compositional awareness creates a journey through the picture, inspired by, rather than depicting a specific scene. When Mike is not printing he runs a successful graphic design business – MA Creative. He specialises in projects for environmental organisations, arts projects and community groups.

Having studied surface pattern at degree level and worked in graphic design and print, Liz now puts her artwork on ‘stuff’ for people to use every day. Brightly coloured artwork inspired by life in Shropshire.
