Thrive Dance Workshop

Join Thrive Dance for
an energetic and joyful creative movement workshop for children and their
grown-ups!

Ludlow Assembly Rooms
will be welcoming Thrive Dance on Tuesday 8th October to perform their
acclaimed dance piece ‘Unfurled’, and you can take part! Thrive are offering
children the chance to wiggle and move with their performers before the show to
support creativity, connection and exploration.

In this stimulating
workshop, Thrive will lead dance and movement exercises that explore the
environment and how our bodies are connected to nature. They will delve into
the world of plants and fungi and use dance to investigate how they communicate
with each other through their roots by sending electrical signals. The workshop
takes a fun and hopeful approach to an introduction to speaking to children
about climate change. Both children and their grown-ups will discover different
ways to express themselves through dance and work together on creative
tasks.
