Notional Theatre’s ‘unseasonal, unreasonable and unsuitable for brats’ comedy show: an award-winning Xmassy concoction. GROTTO is a visit with Santa in rehab; a theatrical one-character stand-up for adults with a less than sober, fully-booted’n’suited Santa who ends up in rainbow lurex, tottering in red stilettos. The legendary big man raps a bit, drags up (“more burley than burlesque”), and gives some cracker-quality jokes a good going over. It’s an unseasonal hamper that contains dollops of diversity, robust language, politics and nuts.

Bill’s Kitchen, within Ludlow Assembly Rooms, is now offering a 2-course meal before the show for only £15 (if booked 24 hours in advance).
