The Rotundas are a popular local English folk band who play the traditional industrial and social songs of Birmingham and the Black Country with energy and authenticity.
Drawing heavily on the primary research of song collectors such as Roy Palmer, Jon and Michael Raven, plus their own songs and their own settings of lyrics to new tunes, The Rotundas play folk songs that capture the vitality, character, history and lives of extraordinary people and places.
The Rotundas played to a full house of eaters at the Folk Cafe in Bill’s Kitchen in April and having won the 2023 Ludlow Battle of the Bands they can't wait to bring a full set of songs to Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
Enjoy a pre-show supper at Bill’s Kitchen before the concert, simply book for food when you book your ticket. Food available from 5.30pm
